CONTEXT MATTERS
What the numbers tell you
Steam, Twitch and Google measure different kinds of activity. Compare each signal over time to understand how interest in Silver Pines is changing.
How ActivePlayer collects dataHow many people are playing right now?
4,207 concurrent Steam players were recorded in the latest available update. Check the timestamp beside the count for freshness.
How often do the numbers refresh?
The live count checks for updates every five minutes while this page is open. Monthly history and search interest update less frequently. If a feed is unavailable, the last available figures remain visible with their timestamp.
Why might a chart show a gap?
A gap means a measurement is missing. It does not mean zero players, zero viewers, or zero search interest. Newly released games may have only a short history.
The game behind the numbers
About Silver Pines
Silver Pines is a survival-horror Metroidvania from Wych Elm, published by Team17. Private investigator Red Walker arrives in a half-abandoned American town to find a missing musician, Eddie Velvet. The investigation draws him into a nightmare where exploration and careful resource use are inseparable.
Every locked path has a cost
New tools and weapons open more of the town, while puzzles and concealed routes reward attention to the environment. Limited inventory space means a useful item competes with ammunition and medicine for room. Fighting every threat is therefore a different choice from conserving supplies and looking for a way around it. The town’s structure gives that decision lasting weight: a route remembered now may become valuable when you return with better equipment.
Reading the audience without spoiling the mystery
Silver Pines player count measures simultaneous Steam sessions, not the number of unsolved cases or people who have reached a particular ending. A single-player horror game does not need a large matching pool to remain playable. Use the chart to follow overall audience activity, comparing similar days and times rather than turning one low point into a verdict. Some players may watch a streamer’s investigation before deciding to play; others avoid broadcasts to preserve surprises. That makes Twitch interest a separate view of attention, not a substitute for Steam concurrency or a reliable measure of how far players have progressed.
