CONTEXT MATTERS

What the numbers tell you

Steam, Twitch and Google measure different kinds of activity. Compare each signal over time to understand how interest in One Million Coins is changing.

How ActivePlayer collects data
How many people are playing right now?

1,368 concurrent Steam players were recorded in the latest available update. Check the timestamp beside the count for freshness.

How often do the numbers refresh?

The live count checks for updates every five minutes while this page is open. Monthly history and search interest update less frequently. If a feed is unavailable, the last available figures remain visible with their timestamp.

Why might a chart show a gap?

A gap means a measurement is missing. It does not mean zero players, zero viewers, or zero search interest. Newly released games may have only a short history.

The game behind the numbers

About One Million Coins

One Million Coins turns a finite vault of gold into a first-person incremental mining project. Developed by ShoXx and published by Oyen & Umi Games, it begins with manual collecting and grows into a much faster excavation operation.

The next upgrade changes the next haul

Collect coins, carry them to a deposit station, and spend the proceeds on tools, carrying capacity, and a large skill tree. Restoring bunker infrastructure opens further ways to improve the operation. The goal is concrete: empty the vault’s one million coins. That finite target distinguishes the game from an endless idle grind, with every upgrade judged by how much closer it brings the remaining pile to zero.

A finite game can be completed between chart peaks

One Million Coins player count shows simultaneous Steam sessions. It does not measure coins collected across all players, personal earnings, or the number of people who finished the vault. Because the developer describes a short, focused experience, a player can make substantial progress between two snapshots of activity. Compare several days when following the audience and avoid treating a falling peak alone as a verdict on enjoyment. A stream can also show much of a finite game in one sitting, so viewing interest may follow a different pattern from new players starting their own excavation. Search interest is attention, not another active-player count.
