Call of Duty: Warzone arrived on Nintendo Switch 2 on November 6. Activision’s Season 1 announcement confirms the handheld version gets the same maps and playlists as the other supported platforms. Warzone is free to play, including for Switch 2 owners who haven’t bought Modern Warfare 4.
Which map to pick for your first drop
Choose Battle Royale to drop into Hajin, a large map set in South Korea. For a smaller battlefield, choose Resurgence on Zodiac, built around a drone manufacturing facility. Both modes also have Casual playlists at launch.
When the Switch 2 version went live
Activision set a single launch time across platforms. Midnight Eastern on November 6 was 9 p.m. Pacific on November 5, or 1 p.m. on November 6 in Singapore. The date difference reflects the time zones.
The time-limited Modern Warfare 4 DMZ free trial is a separate offer for the extraction mode. Its November 11 Pacific deadline applies to that trial.
