SteamDB recorded 2,481 people playing Incursion Red River at once on November 7, the game’s highest recorded Steam concurrency at the time of writing. The milestone followed the November 4 release of patch 1.4.0.0, which added a map and new encounters to the cooperative extraction shooter.
What changed in a raid
Outskirts expands the map selection. Airdrops and convoys add objectives to existing maps, and a boss convoy appears on Delta at night. A squad carrying a laser rangefinder can designate a convoy for an airstrike. The update also adds in-raid traders, giving players another reason to change their route before extraction.
What the Steam record measures
The peak counts Steam users in the game at the same moment. It cannot tell us how many different people tried the update that weekend or how many returned from an earlier version. The timing puts the high after the patch, but the chart alone cannot show why each player logged in.
