What the numbers tell you
Steam, Twitch and Google measure different kinds of activity. Compare each signal over time to understand how interest in Welcome to Elderfield is changing.
How ActivePlayer collects dataHow many people are playing right now?
1,248 concurrent Steam players were recorded in the latest available update. Check the timestamp beside the count for freshness.
How often do the numbers refresh?
The live count checks for updates every five minutes while this page is open. Monthly history and search interest update less frequently. If a feed is unavailable, the last available figures remain visible with their timestamp.
Why might a chart show a gap?
A gap means a measurement is missing. It does not mean zero players, zero viewers, or zero search interest. Newly released games may have only a short history.
The game behind the numbers
About Welcome to Elderfield
Welcome to Elderfield pairs a cozy RPG routine with an unsettling town and eldritch mysteries. Developed by Chris Cote and published by Kwalee, it offers farming, relationships, home customization, exploration, and turn-based encounters under a hand-drawn horror aesthetic.
The familiar farm routine has an unfamiliar edge
Fishing, mining, foraging, and growing crops support a life among the town’s unusual residents. Strange livestock and otherworldly threats complicate that routine, while gathered resources and equipment help in combat. Difficulty options let players emphasize a quieter life or a more demanding challenge. The contrast is the defining attraction: ordinary plans for improving a home or tending a field coexist with the question of what might be waiting outside it.
One chart can contain several kinds of daily routine
Welcome to Elderfield player count reports simultaneous Steam sessions. It does not distinguish people farming, following a relationship, investigating a mystery, or attempting a difficult encounter. Those choices can produce very different session lengths, so the total should not be used as a measure of story progress or combat participation. Compare activity across several days and equivalent hours to follow the audience more fairly. Twitch interest can reflect the town’s atmosphere, while searches may focus on a mystery or farming system. Neither is a count of additional Steam residents, and a quiet period does not prevent a new single-player adventure from being complete.
