The 007 First Light free Starter Pack is available on Steam and Xbox Series X|S, with the PS5 version arriving November 10. IO Interactive announced the rollout on November 5, giving players a way to try the opening Iceland mission before buying the full game.
Starter Pack and Premium trial are separate offers
PlayStation Plus Premium subscribers already have access to a one-hour timed trial. That subscription benefit is separate from the free Starter Pack coming to PlayStation on November 10. The date matters for PS5 players who want the free pack rather than the Premium trial.
Progress from either experience carries into the full game after purchase, according to IO Interactive. The full game is already available; this announcement expands the ways to sample it.
What to check before downloading
Choose the offer labelled for your platform: the Starter Pack on Steam or Xbox, the Premium timed trial on PlayStation, or the PS5 Starter Pack once its November 10 rollout begins. A free opening mission does not grant access to the entire game.
