Nobunaga’s Ambition: Hishou will not receive its planned November 4 broadcast as scheduled. In a November 2 notice on the official site, Koei Tecmo says it is reviewing both the release date and supported platforms to improve the player experience.
What Koei Tecmo has postponed
The original Japanese notice postpones the first official livestream and the release-date announcement it was meant to contain. The company says it will announce the date and platforms once they are decided; it does not provide a replacement broadcast date.
This leaves both details open. It is not confirmation that the game has been cancelled, that any specific console version has been dropped, or that a particular new release window has been chosen.
Why the Famitsu date may look different
Koei Tecmo warns that the planned release date was already due to appear in Weekly Famitsu’s issue dated November 19, 2026. The company says that printed date reflects information from before the change.
An issue date should therefore not be used as a fresh release confirmation. The later official notice is the relevant update for anyone planning a purchase or following the announcement.
Official teaser and game background
The official game site describes Hishou as a historical simulation. Its earlier teaser provides background on the project, rather than confirmation of the revised launch details.
Koei Tecmo’s official teaser was linked from the game’s June 9 news entry. Release information in older promotional material should be read alongside the November 2 notice.
