The Forest 2 is a sequel to the original The Forest, which was released on December 14th, 2016. The gameplay is similar to the first game but there are some significant changes. In this article, we will explore what these changes are and how they will affect gameplay.
The Forest 2 is a survival horror game. But they we’re no actual description of this game since devs are very silent about it, However, we speculated that it will not be much different from the “The Forest” concept.
Player crashed from a jet and wakes up in the middle of the forest to find that they are the only one around. This game is an open world game, meaning that there are no restrictions on where you can go or what you can do.
The player has to explore the forest, finding items and solving puzzles in order to survive. They have to build shelters, hunt animals for food, catch fishes and find sources of water if they want to survive. This game is played from a first-person perspective and features a crafting system which allows players to create tools for themselves as well as weapons for hunting animals.
The best part of this game is that it supports VR which will bring the gameplay on different level of aweseomeness. HTC Vive and Oculus Rift are the best VR rigs for this game.
Endnight Games finally announced that they are going to release the game “The Forest 2” which has subtitled “Sons of the Forest” on a tweet, Endnight Games stated that the game will be released on “Early to mid 2022”. There are rumors that the game will released on May 20, 2022, I guess it will stay a rumor since the devs are silent about the exact date of its release.
