Destiny 2 comes with three classes, Titans, Warlocks, and Hunters, and each of them has unique abilities, personalities, a different set of advantages, etc.
So, the first thing you do before starting the game is to select your class.
Then comes the physical character aspects. You can customize your build, face, race, etc. You can also select any skin tone or hairstyle you prefer.
Once all this selection is complete, the game begins.
However, if going straight into combat mode is intimidating, you can always begin playing solo as this game has cool solo raids.
