About Elder Scrolls Online
Elder Scrolls Online is a massively multiplayer online role-playing video game set in The Elder Scrolls universe. It was developed by ZeniMax Online Studios and published by Bethesda Softworks for Microsoft Windows and OS X. It was released on April 4, 2014.
The game begins with a character creator that allows the player to choose from ten races (including humans and elves) and seven classes (including mages and warriors). The player may customise their character’s appearance, including gender, facial features, body type from one of six preset options as well as height, skin tone and hair style; these choices will affect how NPCs react towards them within the game world.
After creation is complete, the player must then select one of three alliances: Ebonheart Pact (a union between the Dark Elves), Daggerfall Covenant (a union between Bretons and Redguards), or Aldmeri Dominion (a union between High Elves and Wood Elves). Each alliance has its own unique storyline, as well as different areas and quests that can be explored.
